We were very sad to hear that Eric Carle the children’s author and illustrator has passed away at the age of 91. We love The Very Hungry Caterpillar and to commemorate his life we have been talking about him and doing lots of fun activities, like; feeding our very own hungry caterpillar, making fingerprint caterpillar bodies to match the numbers, reading a few of his stories, making symmetrical butterflies and searching for caterpillars outside.
