Yesterday was #forestschoolday and the sun was shining for our preschool forest school Friday session where we went on a scavenger hunt to spot lots of bugs, birds, feathers, animals tracks and much more besides. We still have spaces available at our preschool and forest school sessions so if you know of anyone who may be interested please tell them about us. You can direct them to our website www.pawspreschool.co.uk or come and ask us for some of our flyers to pass on.

We have also been extending our forest school practice into after school club sessions which the older children have been loving. Watch this space for more forest school fun as we expand and develop our provision.

This week we had a fantastic new den built by Phil Smith Property and Garden Maintenance and Katie Smith from Meadow dreams. They very kindly gave up their time to build this masterpiece using only recycled materials. The children absolutely love it and have been making good use of it already. We are very big on protecting our planet at PAWS and love to recycle things to create things for your children to explore and ignite their imagination. If you have any pallets, spare bits of wood/building materials lying around we would gladly take them off your hands. Or if you are handy with a power tool and have some spare time to help us create something we have lots of great ideas we need help with.

Thank you so much to Phil and Katie for our new den. We love it!
